This story follows <strong data-start=\"640\" data-end=\"674\">Boris Borisovich Ivanyuzhenkov<\/strong>, a US-born Russian citizen and the son of <strong data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"752\">Boris Viktorovich Ivanyuzhenkov<\/strong>, a current Duma deputy and former Minister of Sport.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"1060\">The elder Ivanyuzhenkov is under sanctions from both the US and the EU. Over the years, journalists and law enforcement have repeatedly connected him to the <strong data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"997\">Podolskaya organised crime group<\/strong>, one of Russia&#8217;s most powerful criminal networks of the 1990s.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1062\" data-end=\"1441\">His son, Boris Borisovich, has built an international property portfolio. He owns <strong data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1160\">Riverred Ltd<\/strong>, a UK-based\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">real estate company. Between 2019 and 2021, he co-directed a Russian company called\u00a0<strong>TutorGroup<\/strong> with Semen Kuksov. Kuksov appeared<\/span>\u00a0in earlier <em data-start=\"1328\" data-end=\"1342\">Golden Youth<\/em> investigations and currently serves a prison sentence for crypto-based money laundering in the UK.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1443\" data-end=\"1682\">Boris Borisovich also has ties to a property in New Jersey. Corporate filings link it to a Delaware-registered firm, a structure often used to hide real ownership. In addition, his family has connections to real estate deals in Germany.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1956\">So far, no criminal charges have been brought against Boris Borisovich. However, the case highlights a bigger issue.
